PREVENTION AND TREATMENT GUIDELINES FOR SPINE AND JOINT DEGENERATION

If you have degenerative and symptomatic joints, it is worth treating them with several methods at the same time, as they are mutually reinforcing.

Use as many of the following as possible to build up your toolbox:

  1. Dry brushing the joint area daily with an actual skin brush (metal and natural bristles) to activate the metabolism.
  2. Maintain a good blood level of vitamin D, i.e. at least 120 nmol/l, preferably up to 150 nmol/l. This usually requires a daily dose of 100-150 mcg, less in summer, but also sun exposure.
  3. L-protease enzyme.
  4. Berberine herb (balances blood sugar, which should not be high in arthritic patients) and Cissus (joint acting) herbs.
  5. Ashwagandha herb, (especially with ginger and cucumber).
  6. Green mussel, chicken yolk and shark’s fin preparations.
  7. MSM, or organic sulphur.
  8. Condroitin sulphate.
  9. Clucosamine preparations.
  10. Rosehip preparations.
  11. Collagenicreamer (FROM Foodin).
  12. Serrapeptase preparations (enzyme produced by the silkworm larvae), but only in intermittent doses: 1 week and one week without.
  13. Using frankincense, ginger, mace and CBD oils alternately on the broken joint.
  14. Turmeric, ginger, fenugreek and black pepper (10% of turmeric) to prevent inflammation (pepper doubles the effectiveness of turmeric)
  15. Bone broth, homemade or store-bought. Obtained by boiling 3 t of ordinary beef, pork, chicken or game bones. This is eaten with other food 2-3 times/week.
  16. Omega3 fish oil, recommended 4 g /day.
  17. Baking soda (sodium bicarbonate, NaHCO3)
  18. Eat as much antioxidants as possible (e.g. vitamin C. 4-8 g/day, Zn 25 mg + Cu 2 mg, E-vit 50 mg, Se 200 mcg, Mg 2 x 350 mg, carnosine, glutathione), which also extinguish inflammation of the articular surfaces in inflamed joints (back or limbs).

Other means of promoting joint health:

– Eat plenty of fresh, raw, green vegetables, even green juices. They fight inflammation and acidity in the body.

– Eat a low-carbohydrate diet, as high blood sugar maintains inflammation, including in the joints.

– Avoid the usual 90/90 degree sitting. When sitting, sit in a medium-backed rocking chair (e.g. Salli chair)

– Exercise joints several times a day, even if in short bursts for 1-2 hours in total, starting in the morning, best is swimming
(no weight bearing) and walking, skiing, dancing, ball games (as far as you can do without pain) etc.

– Exercise the large joints in wide ranges of motion several times a day (suitable activity for the whole cartilage surface),
including on a bike or exercise bike.

– For knee pain, do about 100 squats every day, e.g. in sets of 20, even with hands to support and help.

– Driving a car max. 1 hour in one go, then walking.

– Sitting mx 1 hr at a time, then walking. Standing should be done in 15-20 min bursts for a maximum of 10-30% of the work
time.

– Open-air swimming and a relaxing sauna. Both promote cell renewal in the body, as does a short fast (up to 48 hours).

– Fasting. It can be a fasting period of 8 hours or a 5+ 2 fasting period of 600 /500 kcal for 2 days a week (men, women).

– When driving, Sallin Driver is used to maintain better posture and fluid circulation in the lower limbs.

– Fluid circulation in the lower limbs should be ensured by wearing completely uncompressed clothing on the waist (no
belt), hips and legs

– Ensure that the bed is not in a ground radiation field, which clearly compromises joint health.

– Reduce weight to normal weight. Too much fat and high blood sugar increase inflammation.

– Treat teeth/gums, bowels and genitals well enough to eliminate any latent inflammation.

– Treated or treated by manipulation professionals (massage therapists, naprapathy pros, chiropractors, chiropractors,
chiropractors, physiotherapists) to remove distal imbalances, tendon, fascia and muscle tightness and locks from
interfering with joints

Additional treatments can and should be used:

  1. PRP – a treatment in which growth factors are extracted from the patient’s own blood and injected into the joint. The effect can take up to a year to develop.
  2. Red light therapy (red light devices are available, for example, from biohackers). Deep red therapeutic light heals the
  3. Alternating magnetic field magnetic therapy (self-treatment devices are available).
  4. Electrical, pressure, needle or laser acupuncture as home treatment.
  5. Bemer therapy, with Bemer equipment.
  6. Homeopathic arthropathic drugs.
  7. Eating a raw vegetable diet, which reduces inflammation, increases alkalinity and improves Na/K balance, which is important for articular cartilage.
  8. Use medicinal and herbal plants (e.g. honeysuckle, meadowsweet) which have positive effects on the joints (see Prof. Sinikka Piipo’s books on herbs, e.g. ”Suomen Lääkekasvit ”).

NOTE: For pain management of back and joint pain, it is not advisable to use the usual TUKI medicines, as they destroy the good microbes in the gut, which are difficult to restore.  For pain management, you can try exercise or cold therapy, medicated hams, silver willow bark extract, acupuncture or turmeric.
