METHODS TO COMBAT MICROPLASTICS AND OTHER EDCs (Endocrine-Disrupting Chemicals)

METHODS TO COMBAT ENDOCRINE-DISRUPTING CHEMICALS (EDCs) incl. micro- and nano plastics, and other life-threatening chemicals

EDC chemicals (including microplastics) are known to cause dozens of serious health issues, including obesity, memory disorders, hormonal disruptions, tumors, and many other conditions. Microplastics, in particular, have been found to accumulate in the brain, leading to cognitive decline even during working age and increasing the risk of memory-related diseases.

Lifestyle and consumption habits can significantly reduce the entry of these dangerous and harmful chemicals into the body. By following these guidelines, you can reduce your exposure to EDCs by more than 95%:

1. Avoid plastic drinking bottles and do not give your child plastic toys or plastic baby bottles. Plastic drinking bottles are the worst source of microplastics. Remember that heating, acidity, and solvents increase the release of microplastics, as does squeezing a plastic bottle.

2. Do not eat fast food or junk food, and avoid their packaging. Transfer your food to a proper plate before eating.

3. Do not use sea salt; opt for rock salt instead. Restaurant sea salt is a significant source of microplastics.

4. Ensure high indoor air quality at home and work, and remove dust regularly. Open windows and doors frequently or keep indoor spaces as dust-free as possible. A high-quality, quiet, 24/7 air purifier can be a good solution.

5. Try to transition to a plastic-free or low-plastic lifestyle as much as possible.

6. Do not chew regular chewing gum. The main ingredient in chewing gum base is largely plastic.

7. Do not use tampons or disposable menstrual products. Instead, opt for a plastic-free menstrual cup.

8. Do not dye your hair and minimize your use of cosmetics. More than half of lipsticks contain lead. Ensure that your cosmetics are safe by checking unbiased sources.

9. If you must heat food in the microwave, never use plastic wrap, plastic containers, or plastic-coated paper.

10. Remove plastic items from your kitchen that come into contact with food, such as plastic food storage containers, plastic bowls, plastic cutting boards, plastic dishes, plastic utensils, etc. Replace them with wood, stainless steel, or glass.

11. Try to eliminate flame retardant chemicals from your home and furniture. Seek expert advice on this.

12. Get rid of non-stick cookware. The coating chemicals in these pans are hazardous to health and the environment, and they never break down.

13. Take vegetables from store shelves and checkout counters without plastic bags, and rinse all plastic-packaged foods before storing them at home.

14. Test the purity of your drinking water and install a good water filter if it contains microplastics.

15. Replace synthetic bedding and clothing (including workout clothes) with natural fiber alternatives. Wash new cotton fabrics multiple times to remove the high levels of chemicals they contain.

16. Use only natural cleaning and laundry products (such as lemon, baking soda, alcohol, etc.). See how much you can clean at home with just warm water and a good brush or cloth.

17. If you must handle agricultural, forestry, or industrial chemicals, protect yourself as thoroughly as possible.

18. Always read product labels carefully and research the chemicals hidden behind different packaging labels to understand their safety or dangers.

19. The removal of microplastics and harmful chemicals from the body varies, but some effective methods include: a) A high-fiber diet that promotes fast bowel movements (ideally, two times per day). b) Exercise, sauna, and sweating. c) A healthy and thick skin structure (hardened by exposure to temperature variations), where the outer layers remain intact. d) A well-functioning microfluid circulation and immune system, including healthy lymph nodes. e) Strong antioxidant protection, achieved through an antioxidant-rich diet and supplements.

If you have children at home, be even more determined in your protective measures !!
